Aug. 4—COCHRANTON — It's fair week in Cochranton, with the annual community gathering attracting visitors from near and far to enjoy some food, play some games, and get a chance to meet up with old friends. The 93rd Cochranton Community Fair kicked off on Monday and runs through Saturday. Wednesday marked a special day for the fair, as it was when the parade took place.

Country Fair opened its first store in 1965 in Erie, PA, to sell locally owned Meadow Brook Dairy Milk. This store offered the local community a new way to purchase milk when home milk deliveries were declining, and large grocery stores were emerging.. The Country Fair Cares (CFC) program was created in 2019 to assist 501 c-3 non-profit.
